JustVite, a product operated by VanRen Private Limited, enables event hosts to send event invitations and related event communications to their invited guests by SMS.
Before an event host sends an SMS invitation through JustVite, the host must obtain permission from the recipient to receive the event invitation and related event communications by text message.
Consent may be obtained verbally or through another direct communication between the event host and the recipient.
For example, an event host may ask:
“May I send you my event invitation and related RSVP or event updates by text message through JustVite?”
The recipient must affirmatively agree before the host sends an SMS invitation through JustVite.
Providing a recipient's telephone number to JustVite by itself does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.
Before sending SMS invitations, JustVite requires the event host to confirm that the intended recipients have provided permission to receive the messages.
The host is presented with the following confirmation:
“I confirm that I have permission from these guests to send them this event invitation and related event messages by SMS through JustVite.”
The confirmation checkbox is unchecked by default and must be selected before SMS invitations can be sent.
JustVite SMS messages are event-related communications and may include:
JustVite does not use this consent to send unrelated third-party advertising or promotional messages.
Message frequency varies depending on the event and communications initiated by the event host.
Message and data rates may apply.
Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of receiving SMS messages.
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance.

SMS opt-in information and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be provided to service providers as necessary to deliver and operate the messaging service.
